Service-oriented architectures are imperative to drive systems and data integration, but for the integration to matter it needs to reach users in meaningful ways.
This session will explore:
- how rich clients can bring together the richness of the desktop and the reach of the Web
- how to best combine rich clients and service-oriented architectures
- how to best extend your current design patterns to integrate your architecture with rich clients.
The session will show demonstrations of these new application types and show how they are built.
About Seth HodgsonSeth Hodgson is a Senior Application Engineer for the Web Team at Macromedia. His
work there has centered on architecting, developing and maintaining a
variety of public and backend web applications on macromedia.com. Seth is
coauthor of Dynamic Publishing with ColdFusion MX, and he works extensively
with Java, ColdFusion, Flash and Oracle.
