ColdFusion Components
2:30 p.m.

ColdFusion Components reflect the way object-based development was intended to be: combining the power of objects with the simplicity of CFML.

In this session, you'll learn about this combination first hand, starting with a simple data-driven application and gradually converting it into a highly scalable and manageable multitier application.

We will take code from an existing ColdFusion application developed in ColdFusion 5.0 and convert custom tags to ColdFusion components, in an effort to upgrade the application to ColdFusion MX.
